Why this exists
The connection queue is now the constraint on growth.
DNO connection timelines now stretch into multi-year horizons. For sites that need power to grow, the queue, not the build, sits on the critical path. Export constraints compound the problem, ruling out solar-only and export-led models in large parts of the country.
The cost of waiting is rarely an energy line item. It is delayed revenue, stalled expansion and capital committed to assets that cannot yet operate. For a data centre tenant, a manufacturing growth site, a logistics expansion or a motorway services operator rolling out EV charging, that delay is measured in years.
Grid reinforcement is a multi-year programme. Bridge to Grid removes it from the critical path while that programme catches up.

Hydrogen-ready CHP led private-wire power, delivered under a single PPA and sized to your day-one demand. Saber funds, owns and operates the infrastructure for the full term. Site comes online on the operator's programme, not the DNO queue's.
Size to day-one demand
Half-hourly demand analysis sets the load the site needs from day one. Hydrogen-ready CHP, modular and scalable, is sized against that profile, blended with BESS for resilience and Solar PV where roof or land supports it.
Deliver private-wire power
Generation sits behind the meter and supplies the site directly, in months rather than years. Funded, owned and operated by Saber under one Saber commercial PPA. Zero capital outlay, risk transferred for the full term.
Transition when the grid arrives
Once the DNO connection is energised, the asset transitions to a peaking, resilience or heat-led role. The same hydrogen-ready engines move to standby and grid-firming duty, all under the original contract.

The engine platform

The hydrogen-ready CHP engine range runs from 20 kWe to 4,500 kWe, modular and scalable. Engines are delivered through Saber’s close partnership with 2G Energy, with hydrogen operation already proven at industrial scale. All figures on this page are indicative and modelled against site-specific half-hourly data, with the final blend and economics subject to feasibility.
