Why B Corp certification matters
B Corp certification measures a business against a single, externally audited standard for governance, social value and environmental impact. For Saber it is a natural extension of the work itself. Every project we deliver, from BESS through to high-voltage substations for renewable interconnection, is built to a decarbonisation pathway with defensible Scope 1 and 2 reductions. Certification holds that work to account.
Meeting the standard does three things. It strengthens Saber's standing as a long-term infrastructure partner. It evidences measurable impact across environmental, social and governance metrics. And it gives the stakeholders who underwrite long-term agreements an audited basis for trust rather than a stated one.
How we are getting there
The pathway to certification builds on work already in place: reducing carbon across the estate, using resources efficiently and delivering projects aligned to net zero targets. The same discipline that sizes a blended PPA against verified half-hourly data applies to how we measure our own footprint.
What it means for customers and partners
Certification deepens the value Saber can deliver, through technical performance and through alignment with the standards customers and partners are themselves held to. It reinforces transparency, safety and quality across the platform. The headline progress figure is 99 per cent, and the work continues against the final criteria.
